Ygeia Coach · Privacy policy
Your plan, your log, your data
Ygeia Coach builds you a training and food plan and keeps your log in the cloud. This page says exactly what it holds, where, who can see it, and how to delete all of it.
Effective 5 October 2026.
Who we are
You sign up with us directly, so we answer for your data.
- Ygeia Coach is a fitness and nutrition app made by CbyZero, a sole proprietorship registered in India, under the Ygeia name.
- Unlike Ygeia's clinic software, there is no clinic between you and us: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the Data Fiduciary for what you put into Coach.
- Coach is for adults. It gives general fitness and food guidance and is not a medical service.
What Coach holds
What you enter to build and follow your plan, and nothing you have not given it.
- Your account: email address, and the sign-in method you chose (a password we never see, or Google).
- Your profile: sex, year of birth, height, current and goal weight, how active you are, gym days and times, diet preference, wake and sleep times.
- Your log: daily weigh-ins, meals ticked or swapped, workouts and the weights you lifted, and the checklist you work through each day, with a dated copy of each day for undo.
- If you connect WHOOP: the recovery, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, strain, calories, steps and workouts WHOOP shares, and the tokens that let us fetch them. Disconnecting removes the tokens.
- How many Ask AI questions you asked each day, to apply the daily limit. Not the questions themselves.
- When you were last active, to within an hour.
Ask AI
The one feature that sends your data outside India, named rather than implied.
- When you ask a question or estimate a meal, the question and the context the app adds (your plan, today's log, WHOOP numbers if connected, a live heart rate if a strap is connected) are sent to Anthropic, which runs the model in the United States.
- Anthropic's commercial terms do not allow it to use that data to train models. We do not keep the questions or the answers on our servers.
- Ask AI answers questions about training, food, sleep and health only, and is not a doctor. For anything urgent, call 112.
Where it is kept, and who can see it
Google Cloud in Mumbai, and nobody who does not need to.
- Your account, profile, log and WHOOP data are stored in Google Cloud Firestore in Mumbai (asia-south1), encrypted at rest by Google and sent only over HTTPS.
- Sign-in is handled by Google Identity Platform, in an account space separate from Ygeia's clinic software.
- Your plan and log are also kept on your phone so the app works offline. Signing out removes them from the phone.
- Ygeia staff can see account facts in an admin console — your email, when you joined and were last active, whether you finished setting up, whether WHOOP is connected, and how many questions you asked — and nothing about your body, plan or log.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or advertising SDKs. Our server logs never contain your plan, log, questions or answers.
Deleting your account, and your other rights
You can erase everything yourself, from the app, at any time.
- In the app: Settings → Delete my account and data. That erases your profile, log, daily copies, WHOOP connection and data, question counts and your sign-in, immediately.
- Without the app: email hello@ygeia.in from the address you signed up with, and we delete the account within 7 days and reply when it is done.
- Deleted data can remain in Google Cloud's point-in-time recovery for up to 7 days after deletion, and is then gone.
- To see or correct what we hold, or to withdraw consent, write to hello@ygeia.in.
